We will take our time to be sure baby is comfortable, well fed and safe.
Newborn sessions are always baby-led, and include the whole family. Busy toddlers always welcome.

what to expect
Every newborn session is slow and quiet. This is a time in your life where things are new, so we take things slow.
From the planning process to the shoot, we keep it light and easy.

Newborns have their own schedule and needs, and we work around them.
If they are hungry, we pause and feed them. Need a diaper change? No problem.

Every newborn gallery is curated with a variety of family focused and newborn images you will cherish for the rest of your life. From all of the tiny details, to the big picture - we get it all.
HOW TO BOOK AN IN-HOME NEWBORN SESSION
In order to guarantee my availability, I suggest reaching out early in your pregnancy to secure your date, however most expectant moms reach out in the 2nd trimester.
I photograph newborns on weekday mornings typically, which means I often have flexibility to fit you in.
Most newborn sessions take place in the first few weeks after birth, however “newborn” sessions can wait until you are physically and emotionally ready. I suggest getting the session in before either you or your partner return to work, since most newborn sessions will take place on a weekday.

I ALWAYS TELL MY CLIENTS TO START WITH 1-2 COLOURS THAT YOU KNOW WILL MATCH THE LOOK OF YOUR HOUSE AND GO FROM THERE.
